Job Description
- Responsible for all enquiries and requests for improvements and changes to the financial systems
- Act as the lead Finance team interface with IT colleagues for all significant financial systems issues and enhancement requests
- Manage the Chart of Accounts in the reporting hierarchies of all affected systems
- Ensure that all essential system administration tasks are performed to standard. Act
- as / delegate the roles of Oracle super-user
- Maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the P2P purchase ordering system,
- including supporting system development
- Become the technical lead on Bluebox, offering solutions and guidance on system optimisation.
- Support the Capital Finance team to set up scheme codes, build development scheme reports, implement enhancements to streamline intercompany recharges
- Manage end-user queries and triage / resolve as necessary
- Overseeing the operation of financial systems and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified or qualified by experience Accountant
- Strong finance background, understanding core controls and
- accounting
- Experience of the various software applications typically
- used within a finance function
- Experience of developing high quality financial reports
- Ability to build strong and productive relationships with colleagues from outside the Finance function,
- particularly IT colleagues
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel to an advanced level
