Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Systems Accountant to lead and optimise financial systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial data, driving process improvements, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Systems Management:
   • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial systems, ensuring seamless integration with operational processes.
   • Stay abreast of industry best practices and technology trends to continuously improve system efficiency.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
   • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
   • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports for executive leadership, supporting informed decision-making.
3. Process Optimization:
   • Spearhead initiatives to automate and optimise financial processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and enhance overall financial operations.
4. Compliance and Controls:
   • Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
   • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial data and ensure compliance.
5. User Training and Support:
   • Provide expert training and support to finance and non-finance staff on financial systems usage.
   • Resolve complex system-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.

Qualifications:

• Qualified: CIMA, ACA, ACCA.
• Experience in financial systems management.
• Proficiency in Excel and multiple ERP systems.
• Strong analytic skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Effective communication abilities.
