Job Description
As Systems Accountant, your duties will include:
- Make sure the interfaces between the finance systems and the housing management systems are robust.
- Play a pivotal role in the development of finance systems, specifically in the implementation of a purchase to pay system.
- Working with several stakeholders across Finance and the broader business.
- Make sure finance is positioned throughout the group as a business partner that provides the business with evidence-based guidance so that management at all levels can make well-informed decisions.
- Undertake testing of key controls on a regular basis to ensure that they are operating effectively
- Supporting the wider team with adhoc duties where required.
The Successful Applicant
As Systems Accountant you will be:
- Professionally qualified with a recognised qualification: ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
- Strong finance systems knowledge.
- Great time management skills to achieve deadlines in pressurised environments.
- Outside the box thinking and problem solving skills with complex scenarios.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
