Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting an established, professional services organisation in their search for a Systems Accountant. On offer for the Systems Accountant to join a dynamic team and play a key part in the continuous development of the finance system and processes. Both Part Qualified, Qualified and qualified by experience Accountants will be considered.
The Role
The System Accountant's duties will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the A finance system and other related software in conjunction with the Software Development Manager
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the finance system
- Ensuring amendments to system and procedures approved and documented;
- Working with members of the Finance and IT teams and users across the firm in identifying areas for financial process improvement and automation
- Project managing finance systems changes and upgrades
- Building a strong relationship with the IT team and financial software suppliers
- Being point of contact for finance system related issues.
- Producing month end external reports
- Designing and developing new management reports
- Preparing ad-hoc reports as required
The Person
The requirements for the Systems Accountant role are:
- Experience in a similar role
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or qualified by experience considered
- Highly IT Literate with ERP systems and accounting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skill
- Attention to detail and accuracy skills
