Systems Accountant / Project Accountant
As this ambitious insurer continues their expansion they are looking for a qualified accountant with insurance experience to join them on an initial six months basis to be a key person driving the implementation of their Oracle NetSuite general ledger. This broad role will include :
- Support the finance department in the implementation of Oracle NetSuite
- Full life cycle from detailing functional requirements through to creating test scenarios and ultimately user acceptance testing
- Support the data migration activities
- Creation of documentation to outline proposed changes
- Understanding business processes and identifying areas of improvement
- Developing a suite of reports both for finance and underwriting
You will be a qualified accountant with direct experience of working within the insurance market from broker, MGA, underwriter or reinsurer. Have a strong systems and project focused. Although Oracle experience would be beneficial, knowledge of GL implementations more generally will work.
