We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Systems Development and Support Service working within our Children’s Social Care Systems Development Team.
As a Systems Development and Information Officer you will take on a leading role for the support maintenance and development of a range of children’s social care systems and support services ensuring all appropriate measures are in place guaranteeing compliance with statutory requirements and undertake on-going analysis to support effective service delivery.
The role will also involve project management and the on-going maintenance of the management systems, and the right candidate will consult with managers and users to drive each part of the project ensuring timescales are met and there is a data intelligence and an evidence-based approach.

You will support systems users to harness the technology available to them as well as delivering training and ensuring consistency so the ability to adapt your communication style to the required audience is key. You will also need to have a good understanding of data.
You will have worked in a large complex organisation and understand relevant local authority performance indicators procedures and legislation including GDPR and Information Security. A team player who can work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail you will bring innovative solutions and strong problem-solving skills to the team.
What can we offer you!
  • Competitive rates of pay
  • 25-31 days holiday each year plus bank holiday allowance
  • Leave Purchase Scheme

  • Various discount schemes including RAC roadside recovery discount and money off local supportive businesses
  • Employee assistance programme including free counselling through Able Futures
  • Thriving and inclusive workplace culture commitment throughout all service
  • Tusker car leasing salary sacrifice scheme
