They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Systems Engineering Lead to join their team. As the Systems Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in their mission to design, analyse, and manage complex aerospace systems. You will lead a team of talented engineers and work on cutting-edge projects that contribute to the advancement of aerospace technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of system architectures to meet the customer’s needs (encompassing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, electronic and software elements).
- Definition, validation and verification of system, sub-system, and equipment requirements.
- Deployment of Systems Engineering tools such as DOORS and Cameo.
- Helping to define the strategy for the Systems Engineering function and Development of Systems Engineering methods and tools, in particular MBSE and digital thread.
- Performing duties as a line Manager, including conducting review meetings.
- Experience in functional management
- Experience of the application of regulatory requirements to projects
- Knowledge of aerospace recommended practices and regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with the use of IBM Rational DOORS 9.X for Requirements Management
