Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Finance Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive systems and financial support to the finance shared services team and other businesses within the group. The successful candidate will act as a specialist business partner, bridging the gap between organisational IT/systems requirements and operational finance teams. This role requires a strong understanding of finance and the ability to develop, implement, and maintain various platforms for the benefit of the organisation.

What you'll do:

As a Systems Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing all elements of systems and financial support. You will be responsible for developing system roadmaps, managing system migrations, ensuring data security, delivering insightful financial reports, supporting budget preparation, among other tasks. Your expertise will be crucial in optimising system performance to enable timely and accurate presentation of accounts, KPIs, cash flows, budgets, forecasts, BI information, and tools for scenario planning.

What you bring:

The ideal Systems Finance Manager brings a wealth of experience in both finance and IT. You Chartered Accountant qualification (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA) along with advanced Excel skills. Her superior communication skills allow her to effectively present complex financial information. She has a deep understanding of FRS102 and UK Reporting requirements, and experience developing Sage software in multi-business environments. Her strong understanding of financial consolidation tools and experience producing financial and management accounts for SME businesses make her a valuable asset to the team.
