SalaryMembership Organisation - Professional Body are looking for a Systems/Project Accountant
Working model: Remote working with travel to hub offices (including London) and potential suppliers
Salary: Negotiable
Project Role: initial phase estimated at 3 months (with extensions depending on what supplier is chosen) and hours can suit the aims of the project and other commitments the successful candidate may have.
Job Purpose: The successful candidate will be an experienced Systems/Project Accountant, accustomed to Implementing new Accounting and Finance Systems.
Duties:
- Reporting project progress to the Project Board as required.
- Confirm existing main user journeys and remap these to the new finance system.
- Manage the Data migration to the new finance system.
- Working to the detailed specification of the various elements of the finance system.
- Taking the detailed specification and ensuring the detail processes run to the aims set out in the specification and as demonstrated in the tender by the chosen supplier.
- Negotiation with supplier/implementation partner on timescales and any project change requests for the project
- Planning and implementing User Acceptance Testing of configured system.
- Sorting or checking feeder systems and interfaces such as the HR system and Dynamics CRM.
