Address A school just outside of Newbury catering to young people with a range of special needs including autism, challenging behaviour and personal care needs is recruiting full-time teaching assistants to begin immediately. Duties will include providing 1:1 academic, emotional and physical support within the classroom and for those children requiring such assistance, some personal care. The rate of pay is from £14.38 per hour and the working hours are from 8:30am until 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Those wishing to apply should be able to demonstrate some kind of prior experience with challenging children, whether that be professional, voluntary or personal experience. They should also be at ease changing nappies for children of any age given the range of needs of pupils attending the school.
