TR&D are a dynamic team that provides technical support and creates bespoke technical solutions for NCCU/NCA investigation teams and UK and international law enforcement.
We deploy in response to time-critical active criminal incidents in the UK and around the world. We analyse and interpret data to provide targeted intelligence and evidential packages, pivotal to investigations, to investigators, wider law-enforcement and government departments.
Through training and vocational experience we develop specialised skill sets in order to become subject matter experts in cyber-related areas such as Digital Forensics, Network Forensics, Malware, Encryption, Obfuscation and Cryptocurrency. We work with UK and international partners in government, academia and industry to build relationships, develop techniques and define best practice.
