SalaryWe are currently looking to employ a full time and experienced Tanker Driver within the sewage industry, working in East Anglia, living in a 10 mile radius of Ipswich. Binder Ltd supply, install, maintain and empty sewage treatment plants and pumping stations, the current vacancy will be part of the tankering team.
The successful candidate will hold an LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) Category C Driving Licence, ideally with experience of the operation of a vacuum tanker. The role holder will also be responsible for ensuring that the vehicles are maintained in a clean & roadworthy condition both internally & externally and that the tankers are operated in a professional manner. Working regular local routes, responsible for working independently and safely collecting and delivering sewage, often working alone, it’s important the candidate is responsible and reliable, able to assess risks and ensure they wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment). The candidate will also need to be computer literate to send emails and log details onto our company systems using a handheld computer.
All candidates must have:
- 3 years LGV C experience
- Tanker driving experience
- Less than 6 points on licence
- Full CPC card
- Customer service skills

Pay: £28,500.00-£34,850.00 per year
