Job Title: Tax Administrator

MBF are currently working with one of the UK's leading Wealth & Investment Management organisations who are looking to recruit a Tax Administration Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the seamless operation of their Tax Advisory team, ensuring the delivery of accurate and comprehensive advice to our esteemed clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Tax teams to deliver a first-class service to Tax clients within the Wealth & Investment Management sector.
- Manage the Client Onboarding and AML Remediation processes, overseeing data collection and coordinating with the central onboarding team when necessary.
- Assist in billing processes, including WIP management and debt collection
- Maintain back-office systems and client records.
- Provide daily administration support, including communication with clients and HMRC, while upholding the prestige of their Wealth & Investment Management brand.
- Manage and process various annual tax return processes, contributing to the financial success of our Wealth & Investment Management portfolio.
- Prepare meeting packs and assist in the preparation of pitch reports
- Prioritise workloads to ensure all activities align with the stringent timelines
Qualifications:
- To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A strong academic record, including 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths, and minimum AAA).
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (e.g., Excel, Word, Adobe)
- Experienced IT user with intermediate Excel skills, fitting the technological demands of supporting Tax Advisors
- Strong numerical skills, demonstrating an understanding of financial terms within the context of the role
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with Tax Advisors
- Attention to detail and accuracy
