We have been exclusively assigned to a Trust and Tax position for a highly reputable professional services firm based in London.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient administration of trusts and accurate tax filings for the firm's private clients.
The purpose of the role is to undertake Trust Administration and related tax filing, under supervision of Tax and Trust Partner.
The Role:
- To complete Personal and Trust Tax Returns
- To gather data and complete IHT Accounts
- To maintain and prepare Trust Accounts and general administration including liaising with Brokers, Accountants, Beneficiaries, Trustees, and Financial Advisers
- To administer basic Estates
- To provide Tax Returns for Estate administration periods
- To register Trusts & Estates online with HMRC's Trusts Registration Service
- To draft basic Trust documents including Resolutions, Minutes and Deeds of Appointment
- To be responsible for asset monitoring and administration under Powers of Attorney or Court of Protection Deputyship
- To provide ad hoc tax computations e.g. CGT, IHT, Income Tax
- To prepare Cash Accounts
