Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a public sector organisation who are looking for a Tax Assistant to join their Tax department. This client is an industry renowned employer with a fantastic reputation in the market and region. Due to ongoing projects within the business which has increased the workload they require someone who has experience within a Tax environment and has a burning desire to develop as a professional.

Role:
- Support the organisation on all matters relating to tax including VAT, corporate tax and employer taxes
- Play a supporting role in the development of systems and protocols and imput on regularly on VAT compliance processes
- Act as a point of contact across the organisation for all matters pertaining to tax when required
- Assist in the collection of data for tax purposes, working to stringent deadlines
Person:
- Have strong system skills including advanced MS Excel
- Experience of working in a Tax role
- Demonstrable experience of working with senior stakeholders
- Have excellent report writing and presentation skills
