This advisory and compliance role will see you work in a number of key areas such as investments, international tax, due diligence etc. The business has a friendly, professional and flexible approach to work and its employees, priding themselves on a proven record of success and recognition in the industry.
So What's the main role of the Tax Assistant Manager / Tax Manager
- Effective management of a key number of clients, ensuring tasks are completed as expected, managing workflow across the business, offering advice where needed.
- Reviewing and reporting through client meetings and manage expectations.
- Advising and supporting advisory work and tax planning opportunities, involving analysis, report writing etc.
- Dealing with all areas of HMRC compliance.
- Work closely with the Practice Partners and Client team, offering additional services.
So What Does the Tax Assistant Manager / Tax Manager look like?
- You'll deliver excellent levels of client service, ensuring all expectations are achieved.
- You'll possess current knowledge of all areas of Corporate Tax, attending training etc where needed.
- Possess the ability to train and mentor other members of the team and help support their own personal development.
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- CTA part/fully qualified or demonstrable experience
- Strong system knowledge
- Knowledge of managing a team would be ideal
