SalaryMy client is a well known Banking Group and are looking to add to their corporate tax team. The role reports into the Head of Tax.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on tax accounting implications
- Agreeing returns with HMRC and organising tax payments.
- Providing key input for monthly reporting process
- Managing corporate tax compliance and reporting
- Update of banks tax policies and business strategies
- Deal with withholding tax and treaty relief matters
- Working closely with tax advisory teams to ensure transactions are accurately reported.
- Assisting on process improvement related initiatives
To be successful in this role you will need:
- At least 5 years post qualification experience in an in house team or an accountancy firm.
- Strong Corporate tax accounting and compliance experience
- CTA qualification is advantageous
