My client, a leading chartered accountancy practice based in North Leeds are looking for a Tax Senior to join their ever growing team.
The right candidate will work in a varied role whilst being supported through professional qualifications, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills offering career development and progression opportunities.
Duties of Tax Senior:
* Work alongside the Partners, managing a portfolio of partnership/trust/ personal clients in a wide variety of tax specific areas
* Head responsibility for management, leadership and development of the personal tax and payroll departments
* Manage an assigned portfolio of clients, lead advisory work with clients, manage their expectations and act as their first point of contact
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure that clients receive the benefit of all business services
* Identify opportunities to introduce and cross-sell company services to new and existing clients
* Mentor, motivate and engage tax team members
* Responsible for tax returns issuance and ensuring adherence to professional guidelines and firm policies
Essential:
* Minimum of 2 years of previous experience within a similar role
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong team player
* Polite and professional
* Able to work under pressure, to deadlines
* Able to prioritise and multi task
