Veritas are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Class Teacher to start working full time after from January. The school is looking for a qualified Class Teacher who will be leading classes of around 30 pupils with all mixed abilities and understand the current national curriculum. Able to support children with their SATs and must be comfortable working across Key stage 1 and 2.

About the role

• Able to plan and prepare engaging lessons
• The pupils will have mixed abilities so the teacher will need to have the ability to differentiate their lessons to suit all
• Be able to manage challenging behaviour if it arises
• Supporting children on a day-to-day basis to help them develop and grow

Requirements

• Must have QTS
• Be organised and able to effectively pre plan
• A genuine passion for teaching and encouraging children to learn
• Have a DBS on update service or willing to apply
• Be able to provide professional references to cover you for 2 years
