Teacher Of A Level Maths

About the role:

We are looking to appoint a teacher in Teacher in A Level Maths to teach on the A Level study programmes for 16-18-year-olds; this could also include the teaching of A level Further Maths. The role is to provide cover within the department and will be based in our Sixth Form Centre.

The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum planning in our Maths programmes and Monitor students' progress and contribute to the evaluation of results in the Maths and Computer Science Department.

About you:

You will hold an Honours Degree in Maths or a relevant subject, have relevant experience in teaching these to 16-18-year-olds up to Level 3. You will also hold or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification. You will be used to maintaining professional and quality standards and keeping high quality documentation.

City Islington College is an award-winning further education college in London with centres in Holloway, Angel and Finsbury Park. The College offers a huge array of Academic and vocational courses from entry levels right through to HE for young and adult learners. These include foundation learning, A-Levels, BTECs, Apprenticeships, Access to Higher Education. The College also works closely with all stakeholders and offers bespoke training and development programmes.
