The Bedford Sixth Form, are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Business. Teachers at The Bedford Sixth Form, play a pivotal role in the success of our students through helping students develop their skills and reach their maximum potential through the delivery of courses and contributing to the development of Sixth Form curriculum and student experience. Ideal candidates will have current experience of teaching business and up to date knowledge of subject area, syllabus, and teaching methods, alongside the following qualifications: Recognised Teacher Qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS) Degree in a relevant subject Certificate in Education or equivalent in line with the Statutory Instrument English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate alignment to our organisational VISION values: Valuing Teamwork - We are one team who by working together can achieve great things, respecting the opinion and valuing the contribution each of us makes. Terms and Conditions - Sixth Form 18.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE) Full time hours will be considered alongside an appropriate second subject Directed attendance – Teachers working at The Bedford Sixth Form usually have an attendance requirement of 39 weeks.
