Are you a qualified RE Teacher seeking an opportunity in Blackburn? Our outstanding secondary school is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team. This position is available until Summer, with the possibility of extension/contract renewal for the right candidate. The salary offered is MPS/UPS.
The Role:
As an RE Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons to enhance students' understanding Of REligious education.
Create inclusive learning environments that encourage exploration and critical thinking.
Develop lesson plans and assessments aligned with curriculum objectives.
Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them excel academically.
Contribute to a positive school culture that celebrates diversity and promotes respect.
Requirements:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students.
Ability to plan, deliver, and assess lessons effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
