Job description
Working closely with members of faculty at all levels, including senior management, our current team of 7 Teaching and Learning Consultants provide expertise in the areas of technology enhanced learning; online materials development (leading on the design of modules for our world-leading Global Online MBA and other online courses); pedagogic innovation; assessment and feedback. In addition, Teaching and Learning Consultants play a strategic role in the implementation of various School-wide initiatives to improve the quality of Teaching and Learning. We now wish to expand the team. The new Teaching and Learning Consultant will, in the first instance, take on similar duties to the rest of the team. Importantly, however, the post-holder will increasingly take particular responsibility for strengthening our capabilities in the area of support for Executive Education programmes at WBS. This is an expanding area, with blended and online programmes forming a key part of the Executive Education offering. For this reason, candidates with experience working in the area of online and blended learning in commercial contexts would be particularly welcome to apply (although this is not essential). We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so. Full details of the duties and selection criteria for this role can be found in the vacancy advert on the University of Warwick's jobs pages. You will be routed to this when you click on the Apply button.
