Teaching Assistant

We are currently working with a lovely Primary School based in Eastleigh who are seeking full-time Teaching Assistants to work 1-1 and in small groups with primary pupils. The school has great facilities with extensive outdoor and indoor sports areas, sensory rooms, soft play areas and new tech rooms. The school’s focus is to give a nurturing approach to learning for ASC pupils. This friendly school currently has an Ofsted report rated ‘Good’. The role is due to start ASAP for the right individual.
Successful applicants will support a class Teacher, ensuring pupils are interacting in the lessons, supporting the pupils needs and encouraging their learning. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
The Role:
Location: Eastleigh
Salary: £13- £14 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full Time
To be successful you must be able to:
Communicate clearly with Teachers and young individuals
Create an encouraging learning environment for pupils
Be understanding and caring
Carry out tasks involving a computer or hand-device
Remain calm during stressful situations
Work on different activities conducted inside and outside school premises
