Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Westminster

Tradewind Recruitment is collaborating with a secondary school situated in the borough of Westminster, currently on the lookout for graduates keen on embarking on a career as Teaching Assistants. This opportunity commences in September 2024 for the full academic year with the possibility of extending.

This esteemed school in the heart of Westminster is in search of Teaching Assistants to support both teachers and students within the classroom setting. The ideal candidate should be a recent graduate with excellent communication skills, dedication, strong role-modeling abilities, and a passion for fostering relationships with students.

Responsibilities of the Graduate Teaching Assistant Role:

• Support the class teacher and students during lessons, 1:1 sessions, intervention groups, and collaborate with other departments.
• Assist in lessons catering to all year groups, including Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and preferably Key Stage 5 (though this is not essential).

Qualifications Required for the Graduate Teaching Assistant Role:

• Possession of a Degree qualification
• Good GCSE Grades
• Availability to work from 8:15 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
