SalaryStep Teachers are working closely with a vibrant and nurturing nursery dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for young children. We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to assist with the nursery full-time permanently starting in April 2024. As a Teaching Assistant at this wonderful Nursery located in Chingford, you will play a crucial role in supporting our educators and ensuring the well-being and development of our children.
Teaching Assistant Role:
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and intellectual development through interactive play and learning experiences.
- Providing individualised attention and support to children with varying needs and abilities.
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for children at all times.
- Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements.
- As a Teaching Assistant you must foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early childhood setting as a Teaching Assistant is a must.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A relevant qualification in childcare or early years education is desirable but not essential.
