The Headteacher of one of our local schools in the Blackburn area is looking to recruit an experienced and adaptable KS2 Teaching Assistant who can support two children on a daily basis with their varied learning needs.
You must be able to demonstrate and work well with the set plans from the class teacher and support the class as a whole when guided to do so.
This role is an immediate requirement after the Easter break, therefore holding an Enhanced DBS on the update service is of an advantage.
The schools is a popular and successful place to be a part of, working with a dedicated staff team and eager, vibrant children. They work in close partnership with parents, school governors and the local community, as well as having strong links with their local parish church.
The required experience/characteristics for the KS2 Teaching Assistant role is:
- Supporting the class teacher and the pupils within their daily routine and curriculum plans
- Experience supporting within KS2 classes
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or Degree or experience
- A passion for improving standards consistently, encouraging students to engage in learning
