The Headteacher of one of our local community schools in the Blackburn area is looking to recruit an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant, who can work with flexibility within a busy Reception class alongside other team members and provide group and whole classroom support with pupils whom have a range of SEND needs.
This post is full time school hours from 8.30am to 3.30pm and is an ongoing post, having a valid DBS on the update service would be of an advantage as the role is to start immediate for the right candidate.

The required experience/characteristics for the Teaching Assistant role is:
- Supporting the class teacher and the pupils within their daily routine
- Experience supporting KS1 and Early Years pupils
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or Degree or experience
- A passion for improving standards consistently, encouraging students to engage in learning
- Someone who can create a motivational environment, promoting positive attitudes to learning
- Pro-active and resilient
