The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing seven Primary Schools and two Secondary Schools. Our schools are based in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and Aston.
The ethos of St John Paul II Multi Academy is Catholic and was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for children of Catholic families. As a Catholic multi academy, we aim to provide a Catholic education for all our pupils. As a Catholic multi academy, Catholic doctrine and practice permeate every aspect of every one of our school’s activities. It is essential that the Catholic character of the school’s education be fully supported by all staff within the multi academy. This post is a Level 3Teaching Assistant post across the primary phase. Deployment will be in form of a mix of class support, group support and one to one work. The post would suit someone confident as some temporary cover will be expected as part of this role.
We are seeking someone who has experience in:
- Supporting children with special educational needs
- Confident to work across the primary phase
- Confident to work with a pupil one to one and support in a classroom.
- Adaptable/Flexible
- Has at least a Level 3 qualification as a Teaching Assistant
- Has GCSE Maths/English or equivalent
- Confident to work as a team member, excellent communication skills
