Pay: £76-£90 (dependant on experience)

Reed Education are recruiting for passionate and empathetic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to join their partner schools! At Reed Education, we specialise in providing day to day and/or long-term supply work and permanent roles to our local schools and education professionals.

Key Role Responsibilities:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring their access to a personalized and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt classroom activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, promoting the social and emotional development of students.
• Assist in the assessment of students' progress and contribute to the development of strategies to enhance their learning experience.
• Work closely with the school to support holistic development and address individual needs.

The Suitable Candidate will have:

• Previous experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities is highly desirable.
• Relevant qualifications in education or special education are advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students and contribute to a positive and supportive school community.
