This role involves providing essential classroom support to our teachers, working both one-on-one with students and in group settings.
Your new role
Your role as a Teaching Assistant will require you to:
- Collaborate with the class teacher to enhance the learning experience for all students.
- Assist individual students with their academic tasks, ensuring their progress and understanding.
- Support small group activities and facilitate cooperative learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly space.
- Contribute to the overall well-being and development of our students.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in supporting teaching and learning
- Experience of working with primary school aged children in a classroom setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- An enhanced DBS check
