Teaching Assistant Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to lead our Teaching Assistant Course. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a thorough understanding of Teaching assistant roles and responsibilities. The Tutor will design and deliver engaging and informative course content, provide guidance and support to participants, and assess their progress throughout the program.

Responsibilities

• To plan, prepare and teach face to face courses for adults.
• You will also be expected to use information on students’ starting points, such as initial assessments, to plan teaching and learning.
• Participating in the enrolment and induction of students
• Design customised learning programs to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• To provide appropriate student feedback and support and educational advice and information where necessary, and to create an appropriate and welcoming atmosphere for students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Essential Criteria

• L3 (or above) Education and Training teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, PTTLS or equivalent)
• Prior Teaching Experience (2 years minimum)
• Based in the UK, with the Right to work in the UK.
• Available for face-to-face sessions
• Ability to travel between both EBCF venues as/when required JET Shop (B8 1LY) / Summerfield Community Centre (B18 4EJ)
