Teaching Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide support in the classroom. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs. Care and health care experience is also welcomed. this can be a part-time or full-time role.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, including those with autism
- Help students with assignments and reinforce learning concepts
- Monitor student progress and document observations
- Collaborate with the teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive social interactions
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members

Skills:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs
- Knowledge of tutoring techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with special education principles and practices
- Ability to mentor and motivate students
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and understanding

Pay: £87.00-£100.98 per day

Expected hours: 6 – 35 per week
