Term time plus one week (staff inset days to be worked)
32.08 hours per week
Monday to Friday. 8:15am – 3:10pm with 30-minute daily break.

£22,737 - £23,500 Full Time Equivalent
£16,610 - £17,168 Actual Salary

You will join a dedicated team at Dean Trust Wigan who ensure that every pupil is given the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Our teachers strive to pass on their enthusiasm for teaching and learning and engage pupils in fun and relevant activities.
You will work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake and provide work/support programmes, to enable access to learning for all pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils within the classroom. You may also be required to supervise groups of pupils undertaking activities in non-teaching situations.
The Governing Body are now seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. Applications are invited from successful Teaching Assistants who can demonstrate the ability to:
assist in enabling pupils to achieve the highest possible standards
work motivationally within a team of staff
assist in raising attainment at all levels
inspire students to love the subject
work effectively with staff, parents and the community
