Teaching Assistant/Lunchtime Supervisor

Hays Education are currently working with a vibrant primary school in the heart of Maghull, committed to providing excellent education and fostering a love for learning in their students, in order to find a Teaching Assistant/Lunchtime Supervisor.
The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Part-Time Teaching Assistant/Lunchtime Assistant to join our team. This dual role is perfect for someone who is passionate about working with children and wants to make a positive impact on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of intervention sessions.
• Provide support to individual students or small groups to aid their learning and development.
• Supervise students during lunchtime, ensuring a safe and orderly environment.
• Encourage positive social interactions and assist in resolving any minor disputes.
• Help maintain a clean and organised dining area.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the teaching staff.
• A patient and nurturing disposition.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo checks).

Hours:
Part-time, 15 hours per week during term time.
Salary:
Competitive, based on experience.
