JOB DECRIPTION We are seeking a talented Teaching Fellow to undertake teaching, assessment, and classroom administration associated with the delivery of undergraduate Geography modules, on degree programmes in Geography, Environmental Science and Global Development and Sustainability. The role will contribute to teaching in general, physical and/or human geography. About the Role As a Teaching Fellow in Geography, you will be supporting undergraduate students during their Geography studies, through teaching, marking and tutorials. You will be acting as an Academic Advisor, and project supervisor, and contributing to syllabus planning on the relevant modules. There will also be potential involvement in international fieldtrips and other field activities. About You You will have a good first degree in Geography, or a related subject with recent, successful experience of university teaching in core areas of Geography, such as geographical skills, research methods and/or fieldwork. You will have experience which either complements and/or extends our current undergraduate module offering, for example, energy transitions and climate change mitigation; critical physical geographies, and big data and quantitative human geographies. You will be a proactive self-starter, flexible and be a dedicated team player. You will also show a clear commitment to a student-centred teaching and learning environment.
