We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Support Assistant to join our team in Chippenham. As a Teaching Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to enhance the overall learning experience for our students. Your role will involve assisting students with diverse learning needs, contributing to the development of educational resources, and creating an inclusive atmosphere in the classroom.
Responsibilities and duties:
Provide one-on-one support to students with varying learning needs, ensuring they receive personalised attention and assistance.Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement effective teaching strategies and interventions.Assist in the planning and preparation of educational materials and resources.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation.Support the social and emotional well-being of students, promoting a positive school culture.Monitor and record student progress, communicating effectively with teachers and parents/guardians.Collaborate with other support staff and participate in professional development opportunities.
Essential Criteria:
Previous experience in a Teaching Support role or a related field is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students.A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
