Macclesfield Eating Disorder Service have an opportunity to recruit a Team Administrator to support our growing service. This particular role will be working within our developing community-based eating disorder team.

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful individual to join our growing team. You should possess commitment to team working and innovative delivery of excellent standards of work.

We are a supportive, competent, and caring team. We aim to provide high quality administrative support services to the team to improve the safety, health and well-being of the people within our area.

We will ensure that you have access to internal opportunities for development with access to supervision and appraisal.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be expected to provide a comprehensive administration service for the clinical team including making patient assessment appointments, typing of correspondence, reports, agendas and minutes using either Winscribe or copy typing.

The applicant will also be expected to be able to organise and prioritise their own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met and that urgent work is accommodated.

This is a varied role and can be demanding at times whilst supporting the clinical team. The applicant will also be expected to provide cross cover for administration colleagues as and when required.

Essential criteria
  • Evidence of good typing skills e.g. RSA III /NVQ Level III in an admin related subject or equivalent

  • ECDL

  • Working knowledge of software programmes e.g. Microsoft office applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality

  • Audio typing skills
  • Minute / note taking experience

Experience
