Job description

Our Volunteering Team are looking for an Administrator to provide an excellent service to volunteers and Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association staff. This opportunity is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

As a Volunteering Team Administrator with strong communication and organisation skills, you will provide information and guidance in response to a range of volunteering queries via phone and email from new and existing volunteers, staff, and external contacts.
Within this role you will also support the wider Volunteering Team with some administration duties, maintain and update volunteer information, support the processing of DBS checks and provide specific project administration support.
 

Hybrid Working Expectations: 1 day per week office attendance.

(Flexibility to attend the office more regularly on occasion may be required to meet business needs.)


What are we looking for?
Administration skills and knowledge of using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent organisation, accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
This role will involve working with a range of internal and external contacts, excellent customer service skills and strong communication is essential. The ability to adapt communication style depending on the audience is also required.
