Role Overview
The Team Assistant shall support the Electricity Connections Team. Responsible for providing efficient, flexible and proactive administrative support including ownership of the payment process for the team, general operational support and effective co-ordination of activities within the Directorate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Electricity Connections in ensuring the smooth running of the teams regular operations, with a primary focus on administrative tasks.
- Manage the payment process for the team, ensuring timely processing via SAP. Owning the process from initiation to invoice matching.
- Attend internal meetings and provide detailed minutes / action lists.
- Responsible for managing diaries, often times acting as a gatekeeper, organising internal/external meetings and booking travels
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3 + years' relevant experience in providing secretarial and administrative support to a team, gained in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Candidates must have previous UK experience in similar role
- Excellent planning and organising skills - proven ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and use initiative as appropriate.
- IT literate with the ability to learn how to use new software quickly.
