We have an exciting opportunity for a Harm Reduction Team Leader to join our Hertfordshire service. The post is an opportunity to develop relationships with sexual health services developing pathways for ChemSex further develop the Naloxone provision across Hertfordshire and our relationship with individual pharmacies, and other agencies building strong relationships with these partners.
You will work within our established all age substance misuse service, ensuring naloxone is available to agencies our service users access, the primary point of contact for both external agencies that have pharmacy queries and provide expertise to Change Grow Live staff teams. This service will be offered in a variety of locations across Hertfordshire.

This is a 12 month FTC.
About the role:
Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance and sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles
Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members
Ensure the service is easily accessible to LGBTQI+/Chemsex clients
Act as the primary point of contact with the LPC and local pharmacies ensuring that there is regular and good quality communication with these partners
Promote the work of Change Grow Live across Hertfordshire, and ensure the use of pharmacies is maximised to promote healthy outcomes for our service users
About you:
Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field
Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills
Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
Have a good working knowledge of harm reduction interventions including LGBTQI+/Chemsex clients, services, and good practice
Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users
Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards
Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others
