Team Leader

This role of a Manufacturing Team Leader within the Manufacturing shop floor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the compliance and success of a dedicated team of Production Operators. We are seeking a leader who is focused on achieving production targets but is equally committed to fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Description

• Lead and motivate a team of Production Operators to achieve goals
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations
• Drive a culture of quality and compliance in all manufacturing processes
• Provide hands-on leadership and guidance on the shop floor
• Overseeing daily operations on the manufacturing line.
• Implementing strategies to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinating with other Team Leaders and management.
• Troubleshooting technical issues promptly.
• Training and mentoring team members.
• Reporting on production metrics to senior management.
• Collaborating with other departments to achieve company objectives.

Profile

A successful Team Leader should have:

• Proven experience as a Team Leader within an FMCG environment
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage a team
• In-depth knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical knowledge is relevant to the manufacturing sector.
