Job description

Job Title: Team Leader – Savings

Location: Chester – 5 days a week (After probation passed 4 days office 1 day from home)

Salary: Up to circa £35,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5:30 pm

About the role:

Join a dynamic team at a pioneering UK bank focused on supporting British agriculture. As the Team Leader for Savings, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, implementing new practices to enhance customer experience and satisfaction. Your role will involve driving performance, building relationships with stakeholders, and leading your team in a changing and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of quality services to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Be aware of potential Operational Risks, Reputational Risks and Conduct Risks taking appropriate action to mitigate and adhere to policies.
  • Promote process change and excellent customer service within a stable and efficient processing environment.
  • Identify and escalate root causes where good customer outcomes are at risk
  • Ensure service performance and quality control through effective performance measures.
  • Manage the teams through formal and informal colleague performance and development reviews to ensure the achievement of business plans.
  • Produce and evaluate management information to monitor performance and identify trends, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Creating a diverse and inclusive culture where employees thrive and develop.
  • To lead by example

Experience required:

  • Understanding of onboarding processes and procedures including an understanding of customer due diligence
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Embedding new process and procedures
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to the team and internal stakeholders
  • 2+ years’ experience in managing teams
  • Self-Driven
  • Experience within the financial or banking sector

Desirable:

  • Savings or Agricultural experience is desirable
