MCS Group is currently working alongside a leading bespoke manufacturer to recruit a Technical Account Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts to ensure that existing contracts are profitable throughout their lifetimes, existing account sales are maximised, and contracts are retained.
Role:
- Responsible for growth, retention, profitability, and customer management of allocated contracts
- Develop excellent relationships with all customer contacts and ensure that all necessary activities are undertaken to re-win and/or extend existing contracts, including driving internal meetings
- Sharp focus to ensure that stock liability is minimised, and margin is maximised
- Regular engagement with all internal stakeholders to ensure the business is aware of all the key challenges within the allocated contracts
- Contribute to tender submissions where required
- Meet with customers, either at business premises or at customer premises
Individual:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical company, ideally manufacturing
- Office based client relationship experience
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and influencing skills
