Our client is a leading international services provider to the renewable energy sector that manages a portfolio of onshore wind, solar PV, and Energy Storage assets for its investment funds clients across Europe.
They are looking for a Technical Asset Manager to oversee the proper operation of Storage Plants under their management. You will assist in the operational control of all aspects of each project, analyse data, rectify issues and drive performance and quality improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage assets on day-to-day basis.
- Be the Client's point of contact & address the Client's request about the asset managed.
- Perform Operational Controller duties, including if needed, on-call duties during the weekends.
- Prepare client reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual).
- Be responsible for daily Storage Plant status monitoring.
- Carry out performance analysis.
- Be responsible for Site Logbook monitoring.
- Collection, interpretation and presentation of data extracted from SCADA.
- Complete Initial fault investigation.
- Create & Review Health and Safety plans.
- Ensure HSE & Statutory compliance of the asset.
- Carry out site inspections.
- Populating contractual reports.
- Monitor O&M's and Service Provider's performance and contractual obligations.
- Look for technical improvement solutions and propose them to the clients.
- When needed, assist financial teams on asset budget calculation & cost tracking.
- The post will involve taking care progressively of similar tasks on the Solar sites.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in the utility-scale renewable energy industry (either O&M or Asset Management)
- Educated in engineering, ideally electrical engineering, renewable energy engineering (or very similar).
- Systematic and highly organised work style
- Hardworking and flexible approach to work: travel to sites in the UK and sometime abroad will be required.
- Advanced standard MS Office suite, including ideally Power BI
- Strong EXCEL - VLOOK UP, PIVOT etc.
- Fluent English with good communications style
