My client are a market leading engineering business and design/manufacture stainless steel regulator valves, mainly into the oil & gas industry. Responsibilities

• Purchase key components/materials for seamless manufacturing process
• Negotiate with suppliers for better prices/favourable terms
• Research potential suppliers to manage risk in the supply chain
• Manage inventory to reduce costs whilst maintaining availability
• Expedite PO’s to ensure production process is smooth

About You

• Procurement experience within an engineering business
• Ability to source from technical documentation
• Proven negotiator/cost saver
• Able to develop and maintain supplier relationships

Package

• Up to 40k salary
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
