A very successful, established and specialist engineering firm, that sources, stocks and supplies products for businesses across the UK and some European countries, is now keen to appoint an experienced Technical Sales Engineer as part of its continued expansion plans.

Office support with regular product training.
This is not a micro managed company, but a company that trusts its sales team to manage their own diaries, with an expectation that you will be visiting companies on a regular basis.
Essential Experience to Apply
- Sales.
- Cold Sales.
- Regular appointment making.
- Account development.
- Can do, positive attitude.
- Experience with SAP or similar.
- Technical or engineering background.
- Driven, with a strong and professional work ethic.
- Proficient with general Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to undergo training for skill and knowledge development.
- Comfortable working to quality standards, processes, and procedures.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Description
- Developing existing customer accounts and identify and target new business opportunities.
- Appointment making and working to a sales plan.
- Managing customer quotations as well as building close relationships with customers.
- Communicating and liaising with suppliers and manufacturers
- The applicant should have an understanding of customer requirements, applications, and specifications to enable them to recommend products or services that best meets their needs.
- Conducting full site surveys, identifying all sales opportunities.
- Providing customers with up-to-date product information.
- Attending and actively contributing to sales review meetings
- Managing and prioritising day to day activities.
- Report regularly on weekly sales activity and business developments.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and professional attitude at all times
- Follow company procedures and perform all other duties requested to ensure the smooth running of the sales role
