The Open VisaNet programme intends to develop a set of replacement services for VisaNet using the latest technology that will allow flexibility of deployment, low cost of ownership and the same high availability and throughput characteristics demonstrated by the existing set of services.
What we expect of you, day to day.
The Open VisaNet programme is seeking a junior project manager to work within the OVN programme management office. Key responsibilities include:
- Support the programme management office including the different tracks of the programme (e.g., program management, stakeholder engagement, etc).
- Support the programme management office to drive key program activities:
- Support Program reviews
- Track program dependencies, risks & issues in collaboration with the delivery teams and other stakeholders
- Track milestone plans across delivery teams
- Track program budgets, forecasts and schedule
- Support the production and circulation of status and milestone reports, working with the delivery teams to provide project updates.
- Support collaboration and overall integration between programme tracks.
- Prepare and support the programme meetings including meeting management, minute taking, preparing agendas and circulating inputs/outputs.
- Maintain and manage the Programme/Project Mailbox and Calendar.
- Maintain the Programme/Project SharePoint sites.
- Support the programme management office to analyse specific data and prepare reports.
- Support the programme management office to comply with Visa's Project Management Methodology and Key
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Educated to at least A-Level or equivalent professional experience
- Knowledge and experience of IT
- Prince 2 Foundation or equivalent qualification
