Cambridge Office With Hybrid Working
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 Plus Benefits
This exciting, fast-growing Technology company in Cambridge successfully provide their Machine Learning based platforms to designers across the globe.
Through continued growth, the business now requires an experienced Technical Project Manager with SaaS and / or Cloud experience, to manage and lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects in their dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in co-ordinating projects across the company’s Software Engineers, internal stakeholders and external clients teams. The focus will be on estimating and managing the resources required and ensuring each project is delivered to both the technical standards and strategic goals of the business.
Responsibilities Include:
- Project Planning: To develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that merge client requirements with the project objectives, deliverables and KPIs. Co-ordinate with various managers and technical teams across all project phases from initial development right through to successful implementation. Ensuring success through adherence to internal standards across scope, costs and timelines.
- Reporting: Analyze, evaluate and overcome project risks, producing project reports and dashboards for stakeholders including the senior leadership team and with periodic customer reporting. Presenting project progress to internal & external stakeholders.
- Risks and Issues: Identify potential risks and issues within each project, ensuring risk mitigation and issue resolution strategies are in place.
- Tracking: Maintain awareness of all project dependencies and manage the relationships between different work streams of each project.
- Capacity Planning: Ensure resource availability and allocation, together with monitoring & adjusting as needed.
- Continuous Communication: Acting as the key point of contact for all project teams and stakeholders, ensuring progress updates and any issues experienced are communicated as they arise.
- Tracking Quality: Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports, ensuring projects meet agreed quality standards.
- Statements of Work: Have ownership of the end-to-end process for statement of work writing for each customer project and be accountable for producing the customer facing artefacts.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Degree qualified preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven project management experience and strong technical knowledge of delivering SaaS or Cloud solutions - including a good track record of successful project delivery.
- Although not essential, experience of delivering technology projects within Automotive or Aerospace is highly beneficial.
- Good JIRA skills and knowledge of other project management tools ie. MS Project, Wrike, Asana or Trello.
- Good experience working with project management methodologies like Agile Scrum, Waterfall and Hybrid.
- A strong analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate and head off project issues and challenges.
- Excellent communications and people, comfortable being the key project contact across internal teams, stakeholder & client teams - regularly presenting project progress reports.
