Ideally, the candidate we’re looking for will have a specific Records Management background in order to lead in the technical design of the SharePoint solution. Someone who has practical experience of setting up both document libraries and records libraries in SharePoint Online would be an advantage, and/or theoretical Records Management or archiving expertise so they can interpret our retention and disposal schedules/policies and apply them practically in the SharePoint environment to make sure our new system complies with Records Management standards. Specialist knowledge of naming conventions and access controls would also be useful.
Candidates should have practical experience in setting up SharePoint Online for first time use and experience in migrating records from network file shares and on-prem SharePoint sites.

Records management experience Extensive SharePoint experience Record retention policy experience Data Compliance Information Assurance Providing Guidance to Stakeholder MOPI, Retention Policies and GDPR Technical Migration to SP Online Data Cleansing (no technical) working with Data asset owners to understand their data and help scope out a plan.
